Identity theft is a huge problem. Millions of people are victims of identity theft each and every day. I’ve been a victim of identity theft and I can tell you it’s no fun. It’s bad enough I messed up some of my credit by being irresponsible when I was younger, but my credit was impacted the worst by identity theft.
I’m fortunate enough to have the money to get what I want or need, but not everyone is able. I had people use my identity to order electronics, jewelry, utilities, home decor and etc. Isn’t that terrible? I’m still paying some of them off. These types of individuals are relentless and they feel no shame for the problems they cause for other people.
A few months ago, my bank notified me that they noticed suspicious transactions from California, Florida and overseas. Thankfully, they blocked most of the transactions and the few that did go through, I was able to get my money back in two weeks.
Identity theives are some of the worst people in the world. Other people’s money is not for these thieves to take. Other people’s identity is not for these thieves to assume. These thieves better be careful because one day they may end up losing far more than what they have taken.
Until next time…
