Motivational Speaker in the House!

I’ve been invited to speak at an upcoming conference and I’m super excited. I’ve never been one to hold back on the things I’m passionate about. It’s not possible with me. Especially when speaking out against racism, prejudice and other injustices. Speaking up for those who are afraid to is what I do best. πŸ™ŒπŸΎ

You have to understand one thing: I come from a family where I was raised to stand my ground and not only that, I was raised to NEVER allow anyone to muffle my voice when it comes to speaking up and speaking out. My friends have often said that one day I’m going to be known for my books and my speeches. I think they might be right. I just started taking advantage of such opportunities a little late in life. Better late than never.

Stand me in front of a crowd of people who need encouraging / motivated and I’ll show you a crowd of people who’ll leave with a new attitude on life. The world needs more people who aren’t afraid to lend their voice for the betterment of others. If this keeps up, I’m going to have to add motivational speaker to my list of skills. I’m all for it! πŸ€—πŸ˜‰

In a world where people try to make you feel guilty for speaking up or speaking out, I embrace it because I can handle it and then some….

Until next time…

  1. I actually don’t speak up and it’s not because I’m scared or a person “punked”’s because I developed Ataxia and I now have slurred speech. I can write about a topic but when it comes to talking about it? I’ll pass lol

    1. Ha! No need to be ashamed about that. Whether you use your voice or the power of the pen, it’s all the same when you are wanting to speak out or write about the wrongs that you see. πŸ˜‰ The pen is mightier than most people think.
