What They Said

I was asked (in preparation for what’s to come) to list a few reasons why some people in my past and present may not like me. To answer that question, I turned to those closest to me. My family and friends are very objective not to mention blunt, so I trust their answers. Let’s see what they had to say. I’ll be using emojis to show how I feel about their answers.

1. “Anita likes to keep to herself. This sometimes makes her seem distant to those who aren’t her family and friends. It’s her way of staying out of drama or negativity. If she let’s you in a bit, you’ll see a side of her that you’ll grow to love. The minute you mess up and become negative or deceitful, she’ll put you at a distance and when she does, you won’t like her.” πŸ‘‚πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

2. “Anita’s one of the most brutally honest people you’ll ever meet, but she can take brutal honesty too which is why she’s so quick to give it. If you can’t handle the truth, don’t ask Anita for her opinion because you might not like what she has to say. If you’re easily offended or can’t take criticism, you definitely won’t care for her. Speaking up for those who are afraid to is what she does best.” πŸ‘€πŸ™ƒπŸ™‹πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

3. “Anita has very thick skin which is why some people think she is mean. She’s not afraid to call people out and she’s not afraid to stand her ground. Anita is a big softy though when it comes to her family and friends and she’s always looking for ways to make people laugh or smile.” πŸ˜Šβ€οΈπŸ€—

4. “Anita’s confidence is sometimes mistaken as arrogance because she won’t allow anyone to make her feel insignificant or unimportant. Trying to make her feel hurt or bothered won’t work. If anything, it will make her laugh because she has a dark sense of humor.” πŸ€”πŸ™„πŸ˜‚

I’m not perfect and yes, I have some people who dislike me, but don’t we all? Name one person who is perfect and isn’t disliked. You can’t. If it’s one thing I can say without any hesitation, I have way more good things that can be said about me than bad things and to me, that says a lot. Bookinganita is a congratulator, not a hater.

Until next time…
