I was asked, when do I see myself being able to write full-time? Honestly, I would say in two years if I play my cards right. I’m not trying to rush or make any quick judgments because anything can happen between now and then. At the moment, I have a number of different stories I’m working on and I can’t wait to share them with you.

After quite a bit of urging, I’m going to submit The Chronicles of Neffie to a few more book competitions over the next couple of weeks. If I win in just one of those competitions, I’m going to be beyond over the moon so stay tuned. Some winners will be announced later this year, others early next year. Let the anticipation begin! I want more stickers and awards added to the cover.

Until next time, rise, shine and always make good use of your time. Most importantly, don’t forget to stay humble.

  1. Hey Anita. 🙂 I run a monthly author blog hop the third Wednesday of every month, and we all share posts on the theme of learning and resources for authors, and I was wondering if you might be interested in joining us. I started the hop as a way for new(ish) author bloggers to get guaranteed interaction on their posts, so this would mean once a month, you’ll get guaranteed comments and probably likes, too, though that’s not part of the commitment. Here’s a link to the hop in case you want to read about how it works. We’d love to have you! There are 35 of us currently. Either way, it’s been nice checking out your blog, and I’ll see you around the blogosphere, I’m sure. 🙂

          1. One last thing so that this initiative works for you. Make sure, before the hop next month, that you log into your gravatar and link it to your blog, because I checked and it currently isn’t. This is so that, when you leave a comment on someone else’s blog, they can easily click on that little picture of you and it will take them directly to your blog.
