Appreciate the Little Things

You know? It’s the little things that often count the most. It’s the little things that often has the most impact. It’s the little things that often brings us so much joy. Yet many of us don’t seem to realize that. Some people think you have to spend a whole lotta money just to be happy. Dis-A-gree! If you have to spend money or think you have to spend a lot of money just to be happy, you may want to recheck your priorities and reexamine your own self.

Attaining happiness is not as hard as some make it seem. Some of us just have a habit of making it that way. Happiness is not that elusive. Trust me, it ain’t that hard to find. 😉

Until next time…

  1. You know, until people remind me to think of myself, I rarely do. This was a good reminder that I need to take care of myself. Other than that, I’m a pretty happy person so you are right, happiness can be found anywhere!

  2. Happiness is found in the littlest of things. I remember when my son was around 4 years old. He saved some money and got me a toy gold necklace with a plastic gold heart pendant. Wrapped in a piece of notebook paper, he handed it to me and said, “Happy Mama Day, Mama!” I still have that necklace. It has been 20 years since that day and it never fails to warm my heart every time I look at it.

  3. I am my happiest when I am at home with my Family. It is so important to be thankful for the little things. I try to start my day thinking of all the blessings I have. It is a great way to get yourself into a positive mindset.
