Good Evening! You made it through Wednesday aka Hump Day! Aye! Whoop! Whoop!
I’m coming to you tonight with another relatable post. I’m going to get straight to the point. Are you ready? Let’s go!
We’ve all heard the saying, “Mind your own business”, right? My family likes to say, “Stay in your lane.” Unfortunately, some people like to be in everyone’s business or in everyone’s face. Every time you look around they’re in some sort of foolishness or mess. Why? Because they are being a busy body by meddling in places and other people’s faces instead of staying in their own lane. When they get called out on it, caught up in some mess or put in their place, they all of a sudden end up looking all ashamed and embarrassed:
Some people should learn to just be quiet and mind their own business. You don’t have to open your mouth or chime into everything. Just keep your mouth shut, you can never go wrong by staying in your own lane. I’ll be honest with you, when I see people like that, I end up either shooing them away, keeping my distance from them or I’ll say little to nothing when I’m around them. I’m not too fond of jumping into other folks conversations nor is it of any interest to me to be in the midst of everyone or everything.
Sit back, be quiet and just learn to observe. You can find out a lot about a person by just watching them. A person can tell you a lot about who they are without even coming out and telling you. All you have to do is watch and pay attention. Staying in your lane will save you from being wrapped up in a lot of drama and it will make your life a little less complicated.
Until next time…
