Laugh Your Heart Out

Laughter is the best medicine. We’ve all heard that line at some point in our lives. Some say it is, some say it isn’t. I personally love to laugh. Laughing is one of the best feelings in the world and it’s something I enjoy doing greatly.

Now, I’m not one of those folks whose laugh consists of a small chuckle or a light giggle. No, I’m one of those folks who laugh hard and loud. I honestly can’t help it. It’s bad enough that I laugh hard and loud, but when I get really tickled, I cry. The tears just flow and they don’t stop until I stop laughing.

For me, laughing is the ultimate workout. My stomach gets tight, I break out into a sweat and after its all over, I’m completely exhausted. I’ve had people tell me that they can’t believe such a hard and strong laugh can come out of a small framed person like myself. Really, I’m not that small as some people seem to make me out to be, but I do have a laugh that can carry some serious weight on its own.

How often do you laugh? Better yet, how often do you smile? A smile, believe it or not, quite often leads to laughter. If you are ever feeling emotionally down, give your body the best medicine by laughing your heart out.

Until next time…
