Alright, alright…listen up. This blog post will be brief and to the point so I can get back to what really motivates me, writing. I am not very keen on doing product reviews.
I wanted to give a quick update about my experience taking the Sugar Bear Hair Vitamins. If you remember from my original post two weeks ago, I volunteered to take this vitamin for 30 days because a few of my relatives and close friends wanted to see if this vitamin really works. They were dying to try it, but they were unsure if it worked for Black women. Just to give you a little back ground on me I have 3C, 4A and 4B hair for all the hair typing women out there. My hair grows really fast and it sheds a lot. When it comes to nail growth my nails grow really fast as well, although I wish they were a little thicker because they are so thin. Since my nails grow really fast on their own, I typically have to trim them every two weeks. With all that being said, check out my two week update below.
Since I started taking this vitamin I have not seen an increase in hair growth. However, with that being said, I am surprised to see that since I started taking these vitamins I have had very little hair shedding. To be quite honest, that was a little shocking to me because even though my hair grows really fast on its own, it sheds a lot. When I say a lot, I mean A LOT! If you were to see how much hair I usually shed, you would think I was going bald!
Although this vitamin has been advertised to increase hair growth, I have noticed that since I started taking these vitamins I have experienced an increase in nail growth. I was not very pleased with that result because my nails grow really fast as it is! You may think I am crazy for posting that, but if you knew and saw just how fast my nails grow on its own you would understand. So if you want your nails to grow really fast, this may be a good product for you.
So, there you have it. My two week update. Although I have not seen an increase in hair growth, I did see a decrease in hair shedding. It has often been said that less shedding leads to more hair growth. I will believe it when I see it. I am still skeptical about this product growing longer hair for Black women, but we shall see in two more weeks now won’t we?
Until next time…
